A peaceful, farming village hugging the sheltered south-facing slope at the entrance to Bishopdale, Thoralby's quiet byways are home to many species of wild flowers and birds. Stay a while and take in the glorious Yorkshire scenery.

Eastfield Lane, on the edge of the village, is the starting point for several delightful circular walks, all branching off in different directions and each offering splendid views.
