Let's Get Creative Competition

"Send us your most creative and imaginative entries!"

 

This competition is an opportunity for individuals of any age or ability to showcase their artistic talents.

We invite you to submit your most imaginative and creative entries for a chance to win exciting prizes. Entry is FREE.

Age Categories:
5-7 years old
8-11 years old
11-15 years old
16-19 years old
20 years and over

Guidelines:

  • Theme: ‘A view from the window’ or ‘Rural Life in Wensleydale and Swaledale’. Participants are encouraged to interpret the theme in any way they choose.
  • Original Content: Participants must enter original works.
  • Technical Requirements: Submissions can be in various art forms, including but not limited to photographs, paintings, drawings, digital arts, sculpture, short films, music, poetry, and performance art.
  • Number of Entries: Each participant can submit up to three entries. Entry is FREE.
  • Content Guidelines: While there are no strict content restrictions, submissions should be appropriate for all ages.
  • Editing: Basic editing, like cropping and colour correction is permitted on photographs, films, digital art, or music.
  • Caption: Participants are encouraged to include a brief caption on the context of each submission.

 

Minimum Photograph Size should be 4 x 6 inches, 1200 x 1800 Pixels.

Length and Format of Performance Art pieces should be no more than 5 minutes.

Written Submissions should be no longer than 2 sides of A4.

  • All Digital submissions must be sent via wetransfer to blueboxt.wetransfer.com or by email to: info@blueboxt.org with the subject line ‘Let’s Get Creative Competition’
  • Participants should include their full name and contact details, title(s) of the entries and a brief description of each.

Entries will be judged against the following criteria:
Relevance to themes
Creativity and Originality
Technical Skill
Emotional Impact
Overall Impression.

Winners will be notified via email and announced on our social media by 31st August 2024
